Basics
Full name: Bellatrix Callidora [Black] Lestrange
Nickname(s): Bella, Bell [by closest people only]
Gender: Female
Age: You never ask a lady her age! [47..shhh]
D/O/B: August 12, 1951
Heritage: Caucasian
Martial Status: Married
Financial status: Filthy rich.. Though some was lost during Azkaban
Profession: Death Eater
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Appearance
Hair and eye color:
She is most noticeable with her dark, shining ebony locks that cascade to about halfway down her shoulders. For the most part they are kept straight, but if she simply didn’t bother with chemicals or heat they’re naturally wavy. Long, black bangs frame her face and give her a stylish twist on your typical pin straight look. It’s almost always kept down and in front of her face, adding to the mysterious aura that surrounds her. Out of the curtain of her dark hair shines two, glowing green-gray orbs; they can widen to an ungodly size or narrow into slits that rival the Dark Lord’s. Her eye colour combines both her family’s traditional murky gray with her mother’s electric green spark.
Physical Appearance:
Overall, Bellatrix is an attractive, aristocratic young woman. Standing tall at 5’9”, it only makes her feel more superior towards others, and she had almost caught up to her father. The Black metabolism keeps her slim, but not sickly so, as she does eat the required amount of food and not retch it up afterward. Bellatrix isn’t perfect body-wise, as she’d certainly like more filling out in certain womanly areas, but she’d deal with what she had then, as it is what some girls would kill for. Her face is one flawless aspect of her – pale and somehow glowing at the same time, it is free of blemishes and marks. Full, pink lips and a button nose complete the face, and give her almost an exotic look; although she is clearly from a long line of British desecendants.
But, as time progressed Bella got older, and her looks began to slowly fall as with most everyone else around her. With all the efforts of keeping her looks up to par, she managed to keep grasp on them for a little while atleast. However, the visit to Azkaban did no good for her appearance wise. The closed up cell and dementors managed to wipe away most of her beauty, and leave her with a only few of her good appearance qualities. As of now, her gaunt, and near starved facial feature is still alive and progressing a slight bit with help of a few of her 'old tricks' to help her beauty return to its once beautiful and graceful state.
Predominating Features:
Of all, her eyes and lips would be the more predominating thing than anything else. These features enjoy dancing across her face, telling each emotion clearly. From the widening curve of her smirk, to the deadly pierce that her glare sends… They are the best by far.
Clothing: Usually dressed in her long black robes. She doesn’t normally wear any other colour anymore, for fashion just isn’t too important to her anymore.
Mind-set
Attitude:
I do believe that the words "Cold and Heartless" are fair play when describing Bellatrix. Because that's exactly what she is... Cold and Heartless.
If you are one of the selected few people who she can say is her friend with her than you will see full range of her personality! From laughing at you and pointing for no reason saying that you're nose twitched to right, to telling you to 'suck it up and get over it' about spilled milk. She'll be you're shoulder to cry on just so she can throw you off, you're protector when you're cornered, and the person sitting next to you in the jail cell saying "Hey you remember that one time when we tortured the Longbottom's into insanity!? Good Times."
But if you're the majority of the people who've made it somehow on to her enemy list, you've deserved to be on it. You've done something in any way, shape, or form to mark you down in the overly-large black hate book in her mind. But don't think if she hates you that you're just gonna get mean looks oh no, you'll get dirty looks, and so much more that your pathetic little mind could think of! But don't worry if you're on the good part of her bad list, she plainly won't notice you. It's the wanted dead part of the list you have to worry about. If you are on her death list and make one rude comment, look at her in a way that she doesn't see fit, and you'll be lucky if the front page of the Daily Prophet doesn't say, "Bellatrix Lestrange Strikes Once Again".
Bellatrix should have never been born. Why? She’s the devil on Earth! The first thing that’s important to know is that Bellatrix Lestrange is better than you, no matter who you may be. She holds herself in such a superior position for a few reasons – firstly, she stands higher than most females her age, even some males, and adores it when people have to look ‘up’ to her. Secondly – just look at her last name! Something that will be tagged onto her for the rest of her life; she thinks she’s practically royal. Thirdly, she’s the eldest sister in her family.
Another thing to remember is that Bellatrix's word holds substance. She doesn’t make promises that won’t go through in the end – unless she doesn’t like you. If she’s ultimately loyal to you, though, you can count on her to get any job done. Loyalty is a main thing in her book. If you have no loyalty from her, don't you dare expect a thing from her, other than complete embarrassment or pain. If you have her complete loyalty, she will die for you. That is the only way in which she is not a wicked, vain monster.
If you’re not someone she likes – even sometimes if you are someone she likes – she most likely doesn’t care. She finds most of the people who waltz around the world completely useless, and really only cares for herself. Bellatrix, however, never fails to comment on anything she finds amusing, disgusting, stupid, idiotic…anything she holds emotion towards. Often times her words are blunt and un-sugarcoated, because frankly, she doesn’t like blatant lies. Getting people’s hopes up isn’t her best forte. Sometimes she doesn’t even have to speak – a penetrating gaze from her prominent eyes often shut people up. Beware for that promising gleam, that her wand is ready to hex you into oblivion.
She should never have been blessed with the Black ‘good-looks’ either. She doesn’t believe in the slightest that they’re a curse, and she uses them to her full advantage. Females have that effect on the opposite sex that oftentimes males can’t even tap into – seductive in every way, shape and form, Bellatrix can have a boy pining for her in minutes or wrapped around her little finger. Contrary to popular belief, she doesn’t do this often, and isn’t as promiscuous as she seems. It’s easy for her to find some fun, though, even if Rodolphus doesn’t approve in the least bit. It’s not like he’s any different, anyway.

History
Little Mrs. Black was first born in her family to Cygnus and Druella (Rosier) Black. Yes, bad names run in the family but luckily she was blessed with a good name and even better looks. From a young age she showed signs of being a pysco bitch out to destroy your life when she 'accidently' chopped off a piece of Kreacher's ear. Of course her parents didn't mind, her grandmother rewarded and encouraged her when she's maliacous to him or any house elves for that matter. Just beginning of all of her evil ways. It was no surprise that it was her grandmother who sparked it in her, it was just surprising that her sister's didn't follow in the same tracks.
Born first, she was also very lucky in having one year of being completely spoiled by her parents, before Andy and Narcissa was born – blonde haired and blue eyed. Many empty jokes were made about what the milkman looked like, but Bellatrix would simply scrunched her nose at the accusers. If she even knew what the statement meant in the first place. Later on, along came her two cousins, Sirius and Regulus Black. Sirius, showing very early signs of betrayl for being sorted into the horrid Gryffindor house, became one of the first on Bella's 'Hate List'. As for Sirius' younger brother Regulus, he was the opposite of Sirius and became a somewhat false close friend of Bella considering his Slytherin status.
As a young girl, she had a dark history. Her parents, fellow Blacks, were not Death Eaters, but they were believing and agreeing with every word He said, and so she had been enlisted in Voldemort's service from and early age. After receiving her acceptance letter to Hogwarts, she was recognized by Voldemort as one of the leaders of the Slytherin Gang, with a few others. As a Slytherin Superior, Bella enjoyed making anyone that wasn't a pure blood, and even many that were, have a living hell as their lives in Hogwarts.
Growing up, she was secluded to only meet a few other people, that had a positive outlook on her life. Well, as positive as Death Eaters and their kids can get. She is usually very outspoken, and bold. Defensive of herself, Bellatrix was never pushed around. Things in the Black House were run the way she wanted them to be, even after the births of all of the sisters, Ravenclaw Andromeda, and fellow Slytherin Narcissa. One of these other people was Rodolphus Lestrange, a boy who seemed to be unwilling to give up on enhancing their relationship. Not giving in, Bella enjoyed playing hard-to-get towards her best male friend, aside from impressing The Dark Lord, of course. Once school at Hogwarts started, they only became closer though.
Her mother, quickly noticing Bellatrix's relationship with the Pure-blooded boy, quickly made it clear to her that she was to keep him. Soon enough, whether she liked it or not, in her fourth year, they were destined to wed. The arrangement would happen after they both graduated, and that was that! No questions.. No ifs, ands, or buts.. End of story. The end. Of course, Bellatrix was a bit happy with the idea, though it did give her slight anger due to the fact that she didn't get to actually pick who she wanted. What if something were to happen and make them feud? Or something of the sort? Well, that was just too bad. Because the deal was done.
Soon after Hogwarts, Bellatrix married. Her name changed from the great and respected Black, to Lestrange. Oddly enough, the two were happy with the relationship[or happier than expected], considering the fact that it was indeed planned for them by their families, to ensure the fact of another pure bloodline. Not long after the marriage though, the two officially joined the Death Eaters, in order to help rid the world of the unpure and unwanted, this however, was by their own choice.
Through the first years of the marriage, there was a bit of rocky times, as well as the better ones. But, the two got settled soon enough. Even though not much happened at first, Bella managed to find some form of entertainment.. Which just so happened to be a talent that she had discovered in her latest schooling years. Just by hearing the shrills, and blood curdling screams from the pathetic victims of her entertainment, made the largest smirk spread across her lips at the memories. While she stood over them laughing, she would continue to add on pain wave after pain wave. This, began to be a little 'habit' in a little amount of time. Although not many attacks were reported, she continued this in the secrecy of just herself, her husband, and the victim's knowledge.
Come time when her Lord spoke of recruiting the Potters, she thought it was a somewhat good plan.. Just for the fact that they were supposedly 'smart'. This, of course, ended tragically. Voldemort disappeared, which left most of the Death Eaters to think that he was dead.. gone.. defeated. But no! Not Bellatrix.. Her loyalty remained just as strong, or maybe stronger after his disappearance. With many attempts to find him, and restore his power, one incident stopped her in her tracks for a temporary time. Assisted by three others[Rodolphus, Rabastan, and Barty], she led them to the Longbottom's household. There weren't many people left by that time, to force for information anymore, for she had covered basically everyone else, except the small amount of about three families. After torturing the two Longbottom parents, Bella still didn't give in to their pleads to quit for they knew nothing. In result, the Longbottom's soon slipped into insanity. Angered, disappointed, yet entertained, Bellatrix left the two to either die for they didn't know better in order to care for themselves, or to be found by someone. However, if the four had only just left a slight bit sooner, they possibly could have avoided what lay next in store for them.
Not even a moment after they stepped outside the back door, they were met by too many Aurors than they could handle. The small group of four was easily overtaken, and taken into custody. How the Aurors knew of their deeds that night before anyone reported it formally? That information was not spoke of.. But, Bella was sure that there was some "snitch" somewhere. Not even a week after the capture, the trial was held to determine the fate of the four torturers. Bellatrix was not fearful of this though, for she knew that someone, somewhere, would find the Dark Lord, and restore him.. And soon get her out of whatever form of punishment that they gave her.. She just knew it! At the trial, she listened to the very boring speech of Barty Crouch Sr., and how he explained their doings.. And wasn't shocked in the least when she received a life sentence to Azkaban. She left the courtroom in a proud manner, for she even had a chance to warn everyone, just before walking out the door.
Her time in Azkaban, she had to admit, wasn't the funnest thing she ever did. Unlike most people who went there, she did not loose her mind, like many thought she would.. No.. Her loyalty, and fantasies of the Dark Lord's return just happened to be enough to keep her sane. Even through the gruesome memories that the Dementors forced upon her, and the horrible experience of being apart from Rodolphus for so long, did take a slight toll on her. But that one night, she was almost asleep in that lonely cell.. The most shocking, yet exciting thing came to her. Instantly, she knew that the Dark Lord had indeed returned, as the mark on her left forearm began to burn with fierce intensity. Yes, she had to say that she was completely angered for she didn't get to see his rebirth, but once the breakout in 1995, she got was she deserved. Glory, respect, and acknowledgment for her duties, and solid loyalty to him. But, on top of this, she was rejoined with both of her 'loves' once more.
Now, as she entered her later years, her allegiance toward the Dark Lord grew, as well as her hatred for some others. She had begun to see that not only did she have to watch out for Aurors and the Order but also had to watch out for Potter. For ever since her cousin's death.. He was on to her quite a lot during that time.. But she didn't worry too much. Prepared to do anything for the Dark Lord, Bellatrix will stand defiant to the end, or will die trying.
